We outfit schools, clinics, kitchens and corporate teams on four continents. After a few thousand uniform programs, the same questions come up every time — so we wrote the answers down.
Start with the wash, not the look
A uniform lives or dies in the laundry. Before choosing a style, ask how it will be washed: industrial laundering at 60°C punishes fabric and print alike. We always send a wash-tested sample swatch before quoting, so you know exactly how the colour and trim will behave after fifty cycles.
Quantities and sizing
- Order 5–10% spare in the most common sizes — people join, people change
- Ask for a size set to try before the full run; we loan these free of charge
- Re-orders are cheapest when fabric is dyed in one batch — plan the year, not the month
Decoration, decoded
Embroidery reads premium and survives anything, but heavy logos stiffen light fabrics. Heat transfer is smooth and photoreal, yet hates industrial washing. Woven labels and badge trims hit the sweet spot for most programs — our team will mock up all three on your fabric before you decide.
The questions a good supplier answers first
- Where is the fabric mill, and can you visit or video-audit it?
- What is the defect replacement policy, in writing?
- What is the realistic delivery date — not the hopeful one?
If a supplier dodges any of those, walk away. If you would like the full checklist as a one-page PDF, message us on WhatsApp and we will send it over.
